From the tropical lowlands of Santa Cruz through the ancient streets of Sucre, across the salt flats of Uyuni, and up to La Paz in the clouds — join us for as much or as little as you'd like.
We'll be at the locations at the specified dates. We are aiming to organize trips with shared accommodation to Coroico and Copacabana as well as an Uyuni trip. Apart from those, find what you like to do and arrange your travel plans.

We Fly Out ✈️
Departing Düsseldorf with Air Europa at 18:50, arriving early on Mar 16 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. We recommend you arrive in Santa Cruz too — with us or in the days after.
How to fly in →
Mar 16–21
Santa Cruz de la Sierra
Tropical, warm, low altitude — arrive that week. We recommend a trip to Samaipata before going on to Sucre. We'll spend the days with local family in Santa Cruz itself.
Trips from Santa Cruz →
Mar 21–23
Sucre
Bolivia’s most beautiful colonial city. We recommend just the city itself — but you can also plan a trip from here to see dinosaur footprints.
Trips from Sucre →
Mar 23–26
Uyuni
The world’s largest salt flat. The typical trip is three days through the salt flat and lagoons — strong recommendation. Let us know if you're joining, we'll aim to organise something.

From Mar 26
La Paz
Highest capital in the world. This is where the Delius live and where the wedding takes place. Ride the iconic Teleférico, visit moon landscapes, and explore the witches' market.
Things to do in La Paz →
In the week before the wedding
Coroico & the Death Road
Cycling down 3,000m on the famous Yungas Road into subtropical Coroico. Let us know if you're joining — we'll organise.

In the week after the wedding
Lago Titicaca & Copacabana
The Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca. Let us know if you're joining — we'll organise.

Back to La Paz
We'll be going back to La Paz. You can choose to go on to Peru to see Machu Picchu among other sites, or return with us to La Paz — to fly back or see more of Bolivia. We'll be staying a couple weeks more in La Paz, aiming for trips to the jungle, to Torotoro and Tarija.
